Ready to throw a party? Take a look at three easy ways to transform your outdoor space into a party-ready space.

When preparing to entertain, the key is to divide your patio into separate, functional zones that are ideal for drinks, dining and conversation. You can define each area with:

1. Small area rugs in different shapes and sizes
2. Comfortable seating and tables
3. Colorful, fun decorations and lighting

Just remember, when throwing an outdoor get-together, be creative with your decorations and arrange the space so guests can easily move around and mingle. Get spontaneous, add some of the unexpected and above all, have fun. You may just give Martha Stewart some competition!
