Plain fabrics don't have to be so, well, plain. In this short video, designer Kelly Edwards shows you three quick and easy ways to add some pizzazz to your pillows, napkins or curtains.

With a little imagination, you can be on your way to creating a custom look using:

1. Store-bought stencils
2. Design stamps
3. Do-it-yourself stencils

Remember, nothing says custom like your initials on the holiday cloth napkins or your favorite flower on seasonal pillows. Once you have this simple technique mastered, you can personalize just about any fabric item in your house, including lamp shades, upholstered chairs or wall art. The possibilities are endless.
