I stopped in my tracks when I saw Nina van de Goor's vibrant, colorful gallery of the Majorelle Garden from her recent visit to Marrakesh, Morocco. At first, I thought that there must be some Photoshopping here, but believe it or not, these are the actual colors in the garden.
Majorelle Garden was created by painter Jacques Majorelle, who opened the garden to the public in 1947. It has been owned by Yves Saint Laurent and Pierre Berge since 1980, and it is the home of the Islamic Art Museum of Marrakesh. The blue used throughout the garden, Majorelle blue, is named after the artist.
The vibrant blue and yellow color scheme is perfect for summer. It reminds me of sipping iced tea by the pool or lying on the beach on a colorful beach towel.

Since I haven't been able to get these bright colors out of my head, I decided to round up some products in the buttery yellow and cobalt blue of the Majorelle Garden. A room decorated in these colors would look fantastic! Want to be inspired? Scroll down for some eye-popping pleasure.
