With mid-century furnishings, modern amenities and get this -- a rubber floor(!), this home couldn't possibly gain any more brownie points. Unless, of course, the former owner happened to accidentally leave a stash of David Bowie vinyls in the basement. (I'm a sucker for the Bowie!)
Just off Brixton Road, the townhome has plenty of lovely additions to the interior, such as under-floor heating and an open-tread staircase. Each of the three stories is immaculately renovated from the original floor plan designed by London architect Edward Hollamby.
I love the marriage of pop art and vintage pieces interspersed throughout the home. If I purchased the space, I wouldn't change a thing. Which says a lot, as I have a tendency toward DIC: Decor Identity Crisis. But no -- nothing could be more gorgeous than this home. It's absolutely perfect.
And on the market for just under $715K, I'm officially collecting lottery tickets. If you'd like to contribute to the fund, I may possibly let you stay in that fabulous guest room.
Possibly.
