4 Craft Projects, 1 Patriotic Table

With Fourth of July weekend just around the corner (hooray!), your faithful ShelterPop editors scoured the web for some clever craft ideas for your Fourth of July table. Here are four simple do-it-yourself decorations that almost anyone can make.

A quick idea from Martha Stewart Living: Red, white and blue napkins are layered to create a star-like shape (below).

Next, paper hats made out of newsprint and adorned with red and blue crepe paper are a snap to make with Country Living's step-by-step instructions.

Colored sand centerpieces from Woman's Day magazine are a graphic statement for your 4th table--plus they won't wilt in the summer heat.

The last idea is to turn everyday clear cups into patriotic vessels with a few stripes of red electrical tape from the now-defunct Quick & Simple magazine (my alma mater, actually).
