Ok, ok, just because I said doily are you thinking about Victorian lace and tatting? Well, rest assured because this doily isn't for your grandma: in fact, it's for your stuff!

Just like Leanda, you too can make this adorable filigree bowl in less than a day for under $15. Note: this is an intermediate level crochet project.

What you'll need:
- 3.75mm (F5) crochet hook
- 1 ball of Aunt Lydia's Fashion Crochet yarn in the color of your choice
- Yarn needle
- Fabric stiffener (here's a great recipe for how to make your own fabric stiffener solution)
- A large mixing bowl 10" diameter
- Plastic wrap
- Kraft paper or newspaper
- A PDF reader, such as Adobe Reader

Instructions
1. Download this great pattern from Coats & Clark.
2. Crochet your little heart out!
3. Follow the instructions in the pattern on how to stiffen the fabric and mold it into a bowl shape. Let dry.
4. Throw in some loose change, spare pens, paperclips, and your keys, and place it by the door as a catch-all.
