And no, I'm not talking gas stations. The chevron pattern, a bold sibling to herringbone, has been on my radar for a few years, and today I'm still craving it all over the place -- to wear, carry and even write on. A tribute to the great Missoni days, I'd love to infuse my home with the famous pattern. Luckily, I've rounded up a few different ways to do so.

To rest my feet on. My top choice? These gorgeous French floors. I love these a bit too much; so much, in fact, I'm dreaming of a trip to France to curl up one of these hardwood floors. Trust me -- it'd be worth the backache in the morning. Of course, France isn't in the budget, and neither are these floors. But what might be on the budget? A lovely Chevron patterned rug from West Elm, Madeline Weinrib via ABC Carpet & Home or even a DIY painted floor a la Nick Olson's apartment as pictured right.
(p.s. While we're talking Madeline Weinrib, did you see her fabulous home tour? My gracious!)

To hide from the neighbors. I want some chevron fabric to make beautiful, bold drapes. Maybe this fabric at Etsy? Or perhaps I'd transform this gorgeous Rubie Green bedding into some curtains of my own. I'd even add stripes to the wall for a fun effect like Blount Design has done.

To house my remote. If I complete one project this summer, it's going to be to get this gorgeous DIY chevron pattern onto my coffee table. I've had dreams about how lovely it will look paired with a bursting bouquet of daisies. I'm quite sure I could use a similar pattern to create a few serving trays, as well, which would be a fantastic place to start.

To look at longingly. Of course, I'd be staring back at myself in this lovely mirror via Pottery Barn. And on sale? It's a sign.

Clearly, the possibilities are endless. Who knows? You may find that my future home is wallpapered entirely in chevron!
