My bed would be a haven if I 1.had a new bed and 2. had bedding that would make it SO hard to leave.
ReplyUse sheet,accessory color and scent(air freshener).Color/patterns dress up the room and suitable scent(that you and room user likes) give room a nature's own or unique feeling. If matress is old,you might use a folded blanket under sheet or a foam pad to restore acceptable cushioning.I bought used BR set in 2007 and that has greatly improved room.(cost$85). Think of your room and bed as your(and companion's)secret place that always relaxes you and hopefully turns on your senses.
I buy sheets that make me happy,.
lots of white. a big fluffly down comforter. and 2 kitties to cuddle with :)

ReplyI have NEVER won a contest, but I'm fortunate to have a husband who prides himself in making our bed a haven. He turns down our bed every night and has gotten me addicted to:

ReplyHow my bed is a haven: no electronics- especially no tv! Soft lighting, a lightly scented candle, and clear of clutter and distractions. The only thing that should be on your mind in bed is sleep!
i make my bed a haven by having my cozy comforter all fluffed up and ready to be snuggled in and by having all my favorite reads with in arms reach for those rainy saturday mornings.

ReplyI've been in love with Rubie Green since I heard about it a year ago. The patterns and colors Michelle Adams uses are perfect for any household. The one thing in my house that always has to be comfy and chic at the same time in my bed. I would love to have this bedding in my apartment. Who wouldn't?
ReplyI make my bed in the morning. Something about coming home to a freshly made bed at night makes it so much more inviting.
