My favorite place to be on any night of the week is my reading nook. You know, that corner in your bedroom or family room where you snuggle up on a rainy or snowy night with a cup of hot cocoa, a warm blanket, and a good book. Or if you're like me, you can be found there whenever you have five minutes to relax. There are a few key ingredients to making a true reading nook: a comfy chair, a lamp, a pillow or blanket, and a side table. I'm going to show you 3 different looks that will have you rearranging your furniture to make room for your own reading nook.

I am of the opinion that you should spend a good amount of money on the furniture and allow the accessories to be cheaper. Unless it's a to die for piece, of course. Spend a good amount on your chair and find simple pieces that you can DIY into your own little special pieces as accents. It's cheaper, and in turn, you like them better because they are yours. :)
