Fire Extinguishers as Art

I don't speak French, but I don't need to in order to understand that even the most utilitarian of items sometimes deserve a little prettying up. Fire Design, a French company, is building a business on fire extinguisher design. Whether you're a homeowner who likes to express your style in every detail, or you're a business that wants your logo all over everything, these designs will complement your space.

Fire Design's range includes checkerboard, camouflage, "I Love New York," cow pattern and even a modern typographic design with their logo. They cost about €95, or $135, quite a pretty penny considering you can get a regular old boring red one for about $20. But the devil's in the details.

Regardless of whether you feel like dropping over $100 on one of these babies, having at least one home fire extinguisher is an easy step for fire prevention and home safety. I'll say ooh-la-la to that!
