Starburst mirrors may have been all the rage in 19th century Italy, but I think we may have those ancient Italians beat. It seems everywhere I look I run into another homage to the sun in the form of a light-reflecting mirror. To be totally honest? I LOVE it.

One of the greatest things about the starburst design is its ability to meld into any space. Whether the room be modern, retro or glamorous, the starburst mirror seems to fit right in -- a bold exclamation point for any bedroom, bath or living room.

Our favorite looks? We love starburst mirrors above the fireplace, bed or console. See what we mean in the following star-studded spaces.
