Last week we asked readers to tell us their favorite time to receive a greeting card. The results of the extremely unofficial poll: Christmas/Hanukkah lead the way with a whopping 32%, followed by "no reason at all" with 23% and birthdays at 20%. A surprising 7% of those that weighed in prefer Halloween cards (or, more likely, misread the question as, "what is your favorite holiday?"). The good news: only 4% said Mother's Day, so you're off the hook for next year as long as you send Mom a card in December.
