Easy DIY: Reinvention of an $8 Toothbrush Holder

I was cruising around the blogosphere this morning when I came across this super crafty (and super easy!) DIY project from Maja Piraja. It's the kind of item that you'll love showing off and admiring, but it will take you only minutes to complete. Don't worry -- I won't tell a soul how simple it was. It will be our little secret!

Anyway, Maja took a trip to IKEA and, feeling inspired, she bought this basic toothbrush holder -- only she didn't plan to use it as a toothbrush holder. She decided to transform it into an eye-catching jewelry holder.

Maja borrowed a drill from her boyfriend, drilled over a dozen holes around the rim of the holder, and she had herself a dresser-top gem -- a handy jewelry holder.
