If you haven't heard of the Woolly Pocket Garden Company yet, now is the time to get in on this new trend of pocket gardening. Lately, I've been seeing them pop up everywhere! Woolly Pockets take their name from their product: pocket-sized gardening containers that flex and breathe with your plants.

Their hanging pockets can create a fun and instant indoor or outdoor garden. The Woolly Wally System is a larger pocket system that can dramatically transform a wall into a piece of living art. Vertical gardening is a fairly new trend where the garden is planted and grows vertically instead of on the ground. These vertical gardens are modular and perfect for urban spaces where there is little to no room for a traditional garden. But their products aren't just for walls: They have a line of square and rectangular containers that can be used on the ground, porches, stoops and even tabletop.

Besides being eco-friendly by nature, they're also eco-friendly by design! The pockets are made of two components: breathable felt and a built-in moisture barrier. The felt is 100 percent recycled plastic bottles that have been industrially felted and the moisture barrier is made according to military standards for impermeability from 60 percent recycled plastic bottles. This moisture barrier also helps keep walls and floors free from leaking water. Each one is stitched together by hand.

How do you feel about vertical gardening? Would you try it?
