It's unclear if Ben, who lives there with wife, Christine Taylor, and their two kids, are moving back to the Big Apple. He has said that he regrets raising his kids in Los Angeles rather than his native New York. "I grew up in the Upper West Side of Manhattan in the 70s," he said in 2008. "There were... fires and riots and serial killers. It was great. My kids, it's L.A., it's sunny and nice. They don't have any excitement."
Eh, who needs excitement when you've got these gorgeous grounds? I'd rather live in Ben Stiller's yard than my own home!
Take a tour of the house in our photo gallery.
Ben Stillers Secret Garden
The sprawling house has 10 bedrooms and 11 baths and costs $12.5 million, but the front door seems fairly modest. It's located on Castilian Drive in the Outpost Estates neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Couldn't you just die for the Stiller family's Spanish-style roof? I'm not really sure why they're selling, but, man, I wish I could be buying.
According to the home's MLS listing, the grounds of the house rival the "Bel Air Hotel." You can see why.
A balcony fit for the most romantic of scenes. The listing also boasts of canyon views. Wonder if you can see them from here?
While I wouldn't choose those striped cushions, I could certainly get comfortable in this lush and shaded porch.
Now this is open air living at its finest.
Every Hollywood star needs a pool for fabulous parties. I like how intimate the Stiller's pool is -- better for small family get-togethers than raucous keggers.
Do you think that Ben Stiller and his wife, Christine Taylor, really keep up with watering all of these plants? Nah.
Perfect perch. The decorator in me wishes they would wrap that tree trunk in some pretty white lights. But really, this space is pretty gorgeous as is.
Don't forget about the one bedroom guest house for Grandpa Jerry -- and a place for the kids to play! This play area looks more like a playground than the backyard swing set that I had growing up.
