"99 bottles to craft on the wall, 99 bottles to craft..." Okay, for a few weeks there, things got a little crazy Chez Fenton. I was saving all my glass bottles that would normally go into the recycling bin with the idea that I would turn them into craft projects. After gathering dust for two months, I finally tossed them out. (Note: This is also a sure way to make yourself feel like you drink too much -- Two months' worth of wine and beer bottles sitting around looks like you threw a rager.)

While my own bottle craft ambitions have been dashed to pieces, I haven't given up the dream! Perhaps you, dear readers, will take up the bottle craft projects for me? Here are five inspired ways to reuse glass bottles:

5) And for the truly fearless, turn them into D.I.Y. tiki torches (also via Design*Sponge).

For your next dinner party, here's the simplest idea of all: Soak the labels off of a few bottles, then fill them with tap water and set them out on the dinner table. Super simple and super chic.
