For our 'Five Faves' posts, your ShelterPop editors ask designers, artists and other tastemakers to share the five favorite items in their homes and tell us why these particular objects make them happy. Myriah Scruggs and Nadia Yaron, founders of Nightwood, a Brooklyn based home décor business, were sweet enough to share their favorite items with us. Their picks reflect their industrial meets natural style and love for all things vintage. Here's a peek inside their home:

A desk chair and a glass bottle

A vintage desk chair and a mercury glass bottle are all-time favorites. Photo: Nightwood

1. One great chair
Of this vintage, swivel desk chair Myriah and Nadia say, "We love this chair because it's the perfect combination of industrial and natural with an unlikely wood frame, metal base and organic flax fabric (Nadia reupholstered it). It is petite and has three elements that we love to find together in one item: Metal, wood and fabric."

2. Mercury glass bottle
"We both have a glass bottle fetish," say Myriah and Nadia of this mercury glass bottle. "This bottle has an opalescent yet metallic sheen that subtly brightens a room."
Bench and lamp

3. Wooden bench
"We love the proportion of this bench, which is once again comprised of our favorite metal and wood pairing." The crafty duo notes, "We replaced the original plywood top with our own brand of wood top. We use it as a coffee table and love it's industrial rustic elegance."

4. Standing lamp
An unusual concrete base lamp is a favorite find. "We found this lamp a long time ago on Craig's List for $35," say the Nightwood gals. "It is a thin, metal rod embedded in a small, concrete cone-shaped base. Its simplicity has stood the test of time. We are fickle with our household item favorites, but this lamp has seniority. It also has another magic combination: Fabric, stone and metal. If we were to start a lamp line, this lamp would serve as the model. We wish we could have one in every room!"

Vintage, handmade textiles

5. Textiles
Like me, Nightwood's proprietors are vintage textile junkies; case in point: Handmade vintage linens. "These are textile heaven," says Myriah. "The quality and texture of the fabric is both refreshing and comforting."
