Pam Anderson Lives in a Trailer?

Did you ever think you'd find Pam Anderson living in a trailer park -- not just visiting her newest boyfriend at one? Yep, we didn't believe it either. The Daily Mail is reporting that Pam Anderson is currently living in Paradise Cove in a 1-bedroom mobile home. How could this be? Well, according to the article, Pam owes about $1.1 million in construction fees from her Malibu home in addition to owing back state taxes (according to L.A. County records).

The documents show that about five contractors have filed claims on Anderson's home. The largest sum is for $674,043 for "labor and materials...to remodel main house, construct swimming pool, construct foundations for guest house." I could buy 2.5 houses in my neighborhood for that! She also owes over $250,000 to the state of California for income tax dating back to 2007. I can never understand how celebrities make so much money but never seem to be able to hire a decent accountant.

Believe it or not, Anderson did, in fact, meet her current boyfriend Jamie Padgett, 42, when he stopped and offered her a ride to the beach in his golf cart. He's a nice, hard-working electrician, according to People. It's a shame he's not a contractor, and that she didn't meet him earlier!

Anderson's been scoffing at recent claims that she's financially unstable. "I'm financially secure," she told The Daily Mail. "It is true that I am in a dispute with some of the contractors working on my home...This is because after paying millions of dollars to build the house I continue to get bills from the contractors...My lawyers are reviewing the work done to see if the bills are fair. If they are, they'll be paid. If they aren't, they won't be." She is also claiming that her team is working on the tax problem. She did acknowledge to People that "mistakes may have been made in calculating taxes owed."
