Every year the Kips Bay Decorator Show House is one of the premier events of the year for the design world in New York. Dozens of designers pour hours of labor into the vignettes they create for the house.

Of all the beautiful things in this year's show house, the one that has stuck with us the most isn't a great wing chair or a slab of rare marble. Rather, it was the artwork of Sarah Graham.

Decorator Bunny Williams hung two of Graham's stunning paintings of artichokes on the walls of her living room space. These vibrant paintings of vegetables were nothing short of show-stealing; House Beautiful rightfully described them as 'ravishing.' Not only was it surprising to see a humble veggie treated with such reverence, the brightness of palette drew you in.

Plus: We were thrilled to discover a studio tour of Graham's workspace on her website. It's so much fun to see the place where great beauty is made. Note to all artists: Include photographs of your studios on your site-us interior junkies want to see them!
