What's not to love about Ballard Designs? They're eclectic, stylish and luxurious. There is something rich and warm about Ballard that really gets me around this time of year.

ShelterPop got a sneak peek inside their holiday catalog and all the exciting new products they've got lined up to trim your tree and get you in the holiday spirit. Expect the catalog in your mailbox in the next week or so.

Vibe: Holidays in the suburbs, a traditional Christmas. This catalog is full of inspiration for decorating your home during the holidays. If you love garlands, mini accent trees and wreaths, then this catalog is chock full of ideas.

Want it right now: The Antique Key & Lock Plaques, on sale for $29.99. The set of four is so adorable and I've been digging the key trend lately so these would fit in just great.

Favorite pieces: The Spool Side Table, at $199 is hands down my favorite item (above, right). I want two of them. Remember we talked about nautical decor? This is a great example of that trend being reworked into something new and exciting.

Best deal: The Escot Pendant (above, left) is beautifully detailed and looks much more expensive than $249. I also really love the idea of this San Remo Wine Console, on sale for $299. It's a console with storage, and if that wasn't enough, it has a built-in wine rack. Multi-tasking furniture is my absolute fave.

Biggest splurge: The holidays are all about candlelight and warmth, so these Montemarte Carved Candleholders (above, far left) are a perfect addition to your holiday fireplace ($45-$85). They're definitely not cheap, but the ornate carvings make them look so luxurious.

Favorite styled room: The large living room with the tree (right) is my favorite styled room. I just love the gilded picture frame behind the sofa filled with cork board and littered with Christmas cards. How clever is that? Hmmm...I see a Done in a Day post in my future.

What we're tired of: Bland palettes. I know that light-colored walls are supposed to make the products stand out more, but let's try to liven things up a bit. The holidays are supposed to be festive! Not everyone who lives in a colonial home is this bland.

Greatest gift: The Etched Mercury Glass Ornaments are a gift for any tree lover (grab a set of 3 for $15), or for other holiday celebrations, you could pick up some white Potted Amaryllis for $19.
