WE'RE SORRY, BUT THIS GIVEAWAY IS OVER. CHECK BACK SOON FOR ANOTHER GREAT GIVEAWAY.

We got our hands on a brand new Dyson DC25 Blueprint vacuum and we're going to give it to one of you just in time to get you started cleaning for the holidays. Nevermind that the new model looks like something out of Men In Black--Dyson says this is a significant piece for innovation for the company.

(Not that we recommend drawing conclusions from price tags, but it's worth noting that this vacuum sells for $529.99, definitely out of lots of people's price ranges.)

The limited-edition Blueprint vacuum has a wand that extends to 14.5 feet to reach ceiling corners and a flat head that makes it easier to clean under low furniture. A Hepa filter traps allergens. And thanks to the debris bin and washable filters, you'll never have to buy another vacuum bag.

It's got a 5-year warranty and has been certified asthma and allergy friendly by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.

For more unique and creative pieces, I think Etsy is the best resource. I love everything handmade and Etsy has such a huge range of products and ideas, it's amazing!

I love shopping Target. I always find great accessories and small furnishings to compliment my decor. I also love JCPenney JUST for curtains. They have the best affordable selection with better quality than Target. For the better quality furnishings that's still affordable -- Crate & Barrel, Bob's furniture stores - yes -- they're furniture IS good quality and has lasted me over 10 years.

AJ Wright is the best store for home decor and supplies. It has everything a home will need, including eco-friendly shower curtains ($10 each) and pillows ($6 each). There are scented candles starting at $2 each, and quality glassware starting at $3 each. Want a warm comforter set? AJ Wright has an excellent variety starting at $16 each. I even found Ralph Lauren bath sheets. My friends loved them. Moreover, it sells famous maker handbags and clothing for the entire family, including plus size items. If there is no AJ Wirght in your area, try its sister stores--Marshalls and T.J. Maxx. Please note, their prices are slightly higher. If all else fails, go to Targets. These stores are open late, which is great for the working person.

I get a lot of things from usual big box stores, like Target and Home Depot, but I find the best items are found at local antique shops, salvage and thift stores. And I get great ideas for turning old things into new fresh things off of home improvement blogs.

Thanks for the contest. I buy at Target, Home Depot and Macy's. I always look for sales. I buy at the store that has the lowest price for what I am looking for at that time!

My favorite store is Lowe's. They have the best selection of home products I've ever seen. You can get decorative items, plants, paint, new appliances, you name it. Their prices are really good too. We used to go to the "OTHER" home store but they got really expensive.
