DuPont has released a new iPhone and iPod Touch application called mySurface, so you can check out their line of Corian® and Zodiaq® countertops right from the palm of your hand. Whether you're remodeling your entire kitchen or just making some minor updates, adding a new countertop surface can dramatically change the feel of the room. The abundant choices (more than 100 colors!) offered by Corian® and Zodiaq®, this app will help eliminate many choices. Then when you get to the home improvement store, you're more prepared (and you don't have to bring home 500 samples!).

Corian® is a solid surface, stain-resistant material that is easy to clean and does not require sealing. Zodiaq® quartz countertop surfaces are composed of advanced composite material made with pure quartz crystals. It is durable, nonporous and chemical-resistant and resistance to heat and staining.

This new application is sure to help both homeowners and interior designers rule out the colors and patterns that don't work and focus in on what brings out the best in their kitchen or bath space. The app includes all current Corian® and Zodiaq® colors and patterns, with names and large surface photos. It also includes an inspiration gallery so you can see what different surfaces look like in a finished space. You can add the ones you like to a "Favorites" section for quick reference, and a scrolling color spectrum makes finding the right shades incredibly easy. And, the best part about this app: it's free!
