Wacky Rugs
This Tord Boontje creation, called the "Little Field of Flowers" and made from wool felt cut outs of leaves, could give any room more texture. Design Within Reach
The Find A Face Rug is playful and fun. Taken together, this grouping of inanimate objects take on a life of their own – or at least they look like they'd like to try.
Here's a better view. It's silly, but genius. Look at the mop face in the upper left hand corner. Can you guess which objects are being featured in each square?

Ewww. Why would anyone want this in their house?
Hungry? Well, you're out of luck. This egg rug, which made the blog rounds a couple of years ago, is all fabric. (But we had to include it!) With two yolk pillows, the "Sunny Side Up Rug" by Valentina Audrito makes for a bizarre addition to any space.

I though some of the contemporary rugs at a web site called "Georgia Mills" were kind of wacky, but they're no match for the ones in your slide show. The "road kill" one is a bit gross, but kind of funny.
