Decoupage is an age-old crafting technique used to make over furnishings, artwork and canvas fabrics with glue, paint and paper. There are dozens of projects that include decoupage, but in the spirit of brevity, I'd like to include a few of my all-time favorites:

1. Decoupage London Map Coffee Table
This coffee table that has been decoupaged with a vintage London map is both crafty and chic. I'd love it in a space of my own, and although the price tag is a bit hefty, it provides incredible inspiration as to what you can do with a bit of glue and the right material.

2. Decoupage Chandelier
This newsprint storefront has my brain reeling with fun ideas. Looks like I'll be saving newspaper for months to come --- after all, that chandelier is gorgeous!

3. Decoupage Chair
This gallery features some of the loveliest decoupage chairs I've seen. Why not grab a vintage poster or advertisement and craft an old chair that is in dire need of some recovering? One of my favorites, again, is this map-covered chair, perfect for any space.

You can re-create any of these projects with some paper and ModPodge, which is available at any craft store. Happy crafting!
