Think about what you've got in storage. Think it's worth over $573,000? It may be -- if you're Barbra Streisand.

The singer's recent auction of more than 500 personal items at Julien's Auctions raised just over $573k for the Streisand Foundation, a nonprofit that supports environmental and women's health programs. The items varied from a group of three sets of brass andirons that went for $125 to one of Barbra's concert gowns fetching $13,000. Wait, $13,000. Really? Let's check out what some of the other items sold for.

I think Barbara is wonderful to donate the proceeds to her charity!
She is not only a fantastic singer, but a very good human being.
Thanks for showing us how real people should behave. I know you are a big celebrity, but you are also very real! Thanks, Barbara!

What is with the black ribbon Barbra always wears around her neck? As along as 60 years ago parents would put a black velvet ribbon around their babies necks to help ease the discomfort of teething. Yes, it made doctors stifle a snicker and roll their eyes. But ever time I see someone with a black ribbon around their neck I cannot help but remember that "old wives tale" and wonder if they are cutting teeth?

I want to know if there is any way of knowing if there is still anything that can be bought? I'd be curious to see a list of items and maybe the asking prices. Being a fan of hers for her entire career I'd like to have something maybe that was hers other than the autograph that I have of her on an old cassette of hers.

    Thanks

I wasn't crazy about the couches but I sure love that room shown in picture 11. It's totally my style - if I had the money to decorate that way. Gorgeous.

I love younger men. I have dated only men at least 10 years younger and as much as 17 years younger than me for many years

You sound like some twisted male. Try some cod liver oil before swallowing.
