Sounds like the opportune time to put a dent in that to-do list of home decorating projects you've been keeping, huh? But if your guy's space looks anything like these dreamy dens I've rounded up, you may want to grab a beer and get into the game instead.
It's hard to tell -- beneath the plush gray fabric, reclining seats and custom cabinetry, which features a snack bar and 60-inch TV -- that this room was actually a dingy, old, unused basement in its former life.
That is until designer Candice Olson stepped in and, in true form, imparted her most divine sense of style into it.

It used to be the kids who were banished to this garage/play room in Southern California. But a few grown-up flourishes -- like grass-cloth wallpaper, carriage-style doors and hook-ups for not one, but three flat-panel TVs -- transformed the space into an adult outpost instead.
