For our last Halloween craft of the month (see our calendar), we decided to do something pretty -- rather than ghoulish. It's called an "inside out vase," and it's really easy to make. This simple idea mixes things up to make a real statement. Group a few arrangements along the holiday table for a striking centerpiece.

Here's how to make one:
1. First, place your candle in a clear glass cylinder vase.
2. Wrap a ribbon around the vase and secure with a knot. Put the vase onto a small plate.
3. Slip a single floral stem into the ribbon making sure the stem sits on the plate. Fill the plate with water.
Done!
