Mini- (Horizontal) Blinds
Pros: Economical, available in a wide range of colors/styles, lightweight, easy-to-install
Cons: Difficult to clean, cheap-in-appearance

Vertical Blinds
Pros: Maximum light control, available in a wide range of colors/styles/textures
Cons: Fall off track clips easily, noisy

Natural Wood Blinds
Pros: May be stained and/or painted
Cons: Heavy, prone to denting, not suitable for moist spaces

Standard Blinds
Pros: Reasonably priced, great for wide spaces
Cons: Noisy, heavy
