Exclusive: The Jonas Brothers Leave Bel Air, Shack Up in a New House

The Jonas Brothers just might be the most perfect picture of wholesome teenage stardom since the days of Gidget and Patty Duke. But don't let that humble image fool you. These young boys know how to live like rock stars.

According to a well connected source we'll call Lucy Spillerguts, we've learned that the purity ring-wearing singing sensations the Jonas brothers have decamped from the leased Bel Air residence where they'd been living the last year or so -- which happened to be next door to Jennifer Lopez's manse -- to a house in sleepy but star studded Toluca Lake. Now their neighbors include Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jennie Garth and Peter Facinelli and fellow Disney money-making machines Ashley Tisdale and Nick Jonas' ex-girlfriend Miley Cyrus.

A New Home for the Jonas Brothers

The walled, gated and recently renovated 5,600 square foot house is one of only 34 luxurious homes that surround the private and prestigious Toluca Lake and is conveniently located just few minutes from the Disney Studios in nearby Burbank. The 5 bedroom and 4.5 bathroom faux-Tuscan mini-mansion had been listed for sale for nearly a year with an asking price of $4,500,000. But according to our sources, the Jonas Brothers opted to lease the property to the tune of $13,000 per month.

A two story impress-the-guests-style entrance hall leads to the formal living room with its wood floors, windowed turret and massive fireplace with a massive television mounted above the mantel. According to listing information for the property, the formal dining room also has a fireplace as well as something called a 'wine wall,' which is sort of ironic considering that only one of the Jonas Brothers is of legal drinking age and they are all committed Evangelical Christians who have publicly sworn off booze, as well as pre-marital sex, tobacco, wacky tobacky and any other illegal substance.

The large and very brown-y beige colored kitchen has all the high end stainless steel appliances a gourmet chef could want or need, including a Viking brand range with a built in pancake griddle. The beige tile floors complement the beige granite counter tops, which sit on slightly darker brown wood cabinets. The kitchen opens to the family room and a cozy, semi-circular lake view breakfast room.

Although there are flat screen televisions mounted in just about every room of the house, there is also a dedicated media room where the Jonas Brothers can gather with all the other Disney stars who shack up in the neighborhood to hoot and holler for each other's latest television and film projects. The room has wall to wall carpeting, a coved ceiling and an entire wall with a built in sound system and massive movie theater style screen.

With 5 bedrooms there should be room for the entire Jonas family. However, whichever Jonas gets the master suite will have it a bit better than the others. In addition to a large bedroom with vaulted ceilings and a fireplace, the master suite includes a sitting area, balcony overlooking the lake, luxurious bathroom and a private office space.

The houses that surround Toluca Lake are packed together like sardines so most of them have only modest sized back yards that open to the lake. The Jonas' new back yard is no exception. It is well laid out with a large covered patio, a sweet salt water swimming pool and spa and a small private dock.
