Cool...I'm an Easy Breezy Cleaner! Unlike my obsessive mother who woke me at 8 on the weekends so that I could help her thoroughly clean every room in the house, that she already cleaned every day. I like my house clean, but it is not my life! I would rather be working in and enjoying my garden, watching living things grow! Sunshine, dirt, and a few bees, mesmerized by green and eyepopping colors are much more fulfilling than cleaning what will be dirtied before I turn around:)

Are you my sister? I'm an easy breezy cleaner too! Probably because my mother was a clean freak too. I was afraid to live in my house when I was a kid. Now, anything goes, because it can always be cleaned up or repaired. It just doesn't really matter in the scheme of life if the house is squeaky clean. It matters if you live in the house.

Ditto! Life is too short to spend every moment at home obsessing about dust or a pile of mail. Thankfully my husband does 90% of the dishes because I do 90% of the cooking. No, my mother wasn't a clean-freak (not practical with six children) but she kept things tidy and we were all expected to help.

I hear ya girl. My mother was a neat freak too. As-a-matter-of-fact, that is the only thing I remember of my childhood....my mother with a broom in her hand. I'm an easy breezy house cleaner as well, and my place and space are my own now. And believe it or not, my mother doesn't keep a clean house as she once did. I have had to go over there and clean bathrooms, kitchen, etc. That lady made me neurotic, and frightened as a child. Today, she is old and doesn't remember any of it. Or so that is what she says....lol.

Well....they didn't tell me anything that I didn't already know....according to the results, I'm "seriously sanitary". I'm a germaphobe and can't stand mess/clutter. I dust every day, sweep every day, mop with boiling water w/bleach every day, bleach countertops and toilets every day, wipe down doorknobs, light switches, phones, and keyboards every day, and I wash my sheets twice a week (blankets/bedspreads weekly). I don't know why I'm so anal....I think it's either an OCD or knowing that it's one aspect of my life that I have total control over. It gets to be tiring, especially since I have flower beds, a vegetable garden ( I can/freeze produce), and yard maintenence on top of it in the growing season. I simply cannot go to bed at night and sleep if things aren't put back in their rightful places beforehand. I can't stand so much as a dirty knife in my sink before I go to bed, it has to go into the dishwasher. I just have an obsession with being sanitary, I don't know why! Is anyone else out there this bad?!

I have always been entralled by people like you. I wish I could be more like you. I am easy breezy. My mom didn't have a neat house , but she worked hard and got up every morning and cooked breakfast and we sat down to a big dinner together. It was a happy home although it was not spotless.
You need a little of me and I need a little of you.
I really never learned HOW to clean properly.
But on the otherhand there are things that are more important than a spotless home. family, friends, hobbies, etc.
PS: I wouldnt mind suggestions for dealing with all the mail that comes into the house and ends up in piles everywhere.
Have a great day.

aleighcat, it sounds like you have obsessive-compulsive disorder. I also have OCD, but with the right medication and therapy, you can live a life that is not revolved around how clean your house is. I know what kind of hell you are going through; but you don't need to live like that! I hope you seek the help that is out there so you can live the life you deserve to live--freedom from your compulsions! God Bless.

I scored as an "Easy Breezy" cleaner, which by title sounds right, but the description of my cleaning style seems better than I really am; I suspect that they just didn't want to insult me! Perhaps I was less honest than I thought, but . . . It's not that I'm really slovenly, just super messy/cluttered, and spend too much "cleaning" time sorting and resorting piles. Anyway, the quiz was fun! (Now maybe I should shut down the computer and go clean ! "Not!")

To get back at these advertisers, I go to their websites, get their contact us address, and send them a barrage of phony emails from different email addresses for this purpose. I also call their 800 numbers and waste as much of their time as possible, and disparage their own site if they have a blog or comment section of their own. If everyone did this, I’d bet they would stop! AOL has obviously lost control!

I used to be a real neatnick, and I used to get frustrated when my late husband not only banned me from cleaning his den (he had a certain nostalgia about everything- including a quarter-inch thick layer of dust on top), he seldom helped with the rest of the house.
Now he's gone, and my back is in severly bad shape, so I clean when I can, and that's not usually for long before my legs give out.... so, I've just had to take a page from his page, and accept that there are worse things in life than a little dust in the house, or if the sheets aren;t changed twice a week! =)

im easy breezy (90%) well, that fits. im still liveing with my mother, and she's a pack rat with horrible cleaning skills. it drives me nuts (reason im searching so hard for a place.) and i tend to clean up after her. my grandmother however is OCD and a ex-nurse on top of it, so i think that i've got a happy medium that is wonderful
nice quiz.

IM A EASY BREEZY GIRL TOO... I KNEW THAT... IF THE DISHES ARE NOT DONE... THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THERE TOMORROW.. BUT I DO FEEL BETTER IF I AT LEAST GET THEM RINSED OFF...AND IF COMPANY IS VOER, THE MSESS CAN WAIT UNTIL MY COMPANY IS GONE. THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAT A CLEAN FREAK CLEANING AROUND YOU WHEN YOU ARE TRYING TO HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH ANOTHER DINNER GUEST.. AND I PERSONALLY THINK IS CAN BE RUDE. THEY ARE THERE FOR A VISIT NOT TO WATCH ME CLEAN DISHES! THERE IS ALWAYS TIME WHEN THEY ARE GONE.

I was a slob as a kid, my room was always messy, and not much has changed now. But that's ok; my kids are still at an age where they think that cleaning is fun, so I give them dustcloths and wipes and let them go to town. They think it's a treat, and the house gets cleaned. Yay!
