MollaSpace pin-up white frame

MollaSpace's new Pin-Up Frame isn't your grandmother's overly ornate version. Made from super-lightweight plastic, it can be pinned, taped or hung on nearly any surface.

Each frame comes with a set of same-colored push pins -- and that's the only hardware you'll need to hang this beauty where you see fit (tape and magnets, not included, work as well). It's MollaSpace's way of reinventing the traditional frame. So I thought, why not reinvent it further?

Here are five ways of taking the frame beyond the simple photo-display purpose. Do you have other ideas? Share them with us!

1. Flip the switch. Turn an ordinary necessity into a piece of art. Instead of finding ways to hide light switches, use the Pin-Up frame to make them a decorative display.

2. Center of attention.
Think outside the box and frame (literally) a cute centerpiece to wow guests during a dinner party.

3. Take it to the Fridge. The MollaSpace frame may dwarf my miniature New York City fridge but it's a great way to dress up the ho-hum appliance with a little pizazz. Other than photos, it looks great framing children's artwork or even your grocery list too.

4. The next dimension.
Ordinary objects become an extraordinary still-life when tacked up with the frame. I simply wrapped this faux-flower with a small ribbon at the top of its stem and used a small tack to attach it to the wall.

5. Take a peek.
If you used to watch "Friends" you know this isn't the most unique idea, but I've always loved taking an overlooked (no pun intended) object and making it splashy. Hanging a frame over a door's peep hole will sure to leave your guests with a great impression, and will make checking for spontaneous visitors that much more exciting.
