You read about glow-in-the-dark furniture, now here's the matching bedding! Yes, glow-in-the-dark sheets are nothing new, but designers are putting a new twist on these sheets. We spotted a few great ones over on Beach Bungalow 8 and thought we'd see if we could find some more. What I discovered was that there are limited designs available, but a few silly ones for adults that I think would be a great holiday gift. Keep reading!

You can pretend you're fighting bad guys or you're an angel while you sleep.

This camouflage "Night Vision" bedding (above, left) is great for your little (or big!) military man who loves planes, tanks and helicopters. Some of the designs glow in the dark, making it seem like you're wearing "night vision goggles" -- how fun!

This cheeky design from Atypyk (above, right) is for the angel in your life -- even if you're a devil you can have a halo while you're sleeping! It's just a basic cotton pillowcase, but in the dark, a glow-in-the-dark halo emerges wiping away the sins of your day. I think this would make a super holiday gift for your partner in crime!

See what else is glowing after the jump!

Although it's not technically glow-in-the-dark, its still a great idea and would make the perfect nightlight. Photos: Joon&Jung

This clever design from Joon&Jung above features what looks like a plain white bedskirt until it's dark. Once the lights are out, a city skyline appears when a light is shone behind it. This certainly makes it easier to check for monsters under the bed. Although it's not technically glow-in-the-dark, it's still a really cute idea.

Planets and star glow-in-the-dark is not a new concept, but it still makes me smile to think about being blanketed by the night sky. For the little astronomer in your house, you could try this set (above, left). Try some accompanying stars and planets for the ceiling to complete the effect (pictured above, right).

With these sheets, even the oldest of kids will have a fun time falling asleep.

Hable Construction's cute martian bedding (above) is out of this world! OK, cheesiness aside, these are adorable for grownups and kids alike. Available exclusively at Garnet Hill in twin through queen. Sorry, abduction not included.

What do you think? Would you buy glow-in-the-dark bedding for yourself?

I guess I have been a brave person (according to AOL) for many years. I had a glow-in-the-dark sheet & comforter set with stars and comets on it back in 1988! They aren't as new as people are being told that they are. My kids were small then, and they sure had fun with them. Just one catch though - back then you could only get the sets for waterbeds. I miss my waterbed. I don't hear a thing about them anymore.. I wonder if they still make them?

I've been using glow sticks in the bedroom for years. My wife loves it.

If the y are made right, they should recharge during the day, while there is light shining on them

Just about the same time you do!!!

Patricia ~ I had my set for a couple years and they were washed quite a bit as I was a single mom of 3 at the time and my kids loved to have PJ parties and got popcorn butter, chocolate, name it, about everything on my sheets and the comforter. I had a house fire a couple years after I bought them, and lost everything but since they did last so well through being washed at least twice a week for a couple years, I'd bet they'd keep glowing until the set plain wore out. Also, they do indeed recharge during the day using the sunlight abd daylight coming into the room. I just loved them, but I haven't gotten anymore since.

While the concept is ok you have children who are spooked by anything and I would imagine glowing dinosaurs could be one especially if they wake during the night to see shadows all over their room. Are they more flammable? Gotta ask this stuff.
