Gift Guide: Perfect Presents, Under $25

Categories: Shopping

It's the holidays -- the season of giving! But if you're anything like me, you've been giving year round: giving to my landlord, to Mastercard, to the friendly folks at the utility company. By the time the holidays roll around my giving bank is near exhausted.

All hope's not lost. These 15 gift ideas are bound to make any recipient smile, and since they all cost less than $25 you might just have a little left to give (to your gas tank perhaps?).

Gifts for the Home Cook

I've seen commercials for The "Ove" Glove and every time I say "I want one!" Grab a pair for $19.99/each at Kitchen Kapers.

Rösle® Collapsible Colanders open and collapse for more cabinet space and double as a steamer, $40, Sur La Table.

With the George Foreman Indoor/Outdoor Grill, you can grill all year round and get that outdoor grilling experience even when it's snowing. $69 at Walmart. Plus, bring it to your next tailgating party!

I have a single serve coffee maker and I can't tell you how much faster and easier it is to make a quick cup. Plus, if I want French Vanilla and the husband wants regular, then we can both get what we want! Check out the Keurig® B30 Personal Brewer/Coffee Maker, $89.99 at Bed Bath & Beyond.

How about giving the gift of time. Although this isn't a gadget, we think that the Martha Stewart's Dinner at Home: 52 Quick Meals to Cook for Family and Friends, will help your cook create wizardry in the kitchen by offering new, fast meal ideas. That way, less time is spend cooking and more on other stuff (like eating!).

Keep your hand busy cooking and baking rather than holding a book with this Stainless Steel Cookbook Holder, $29.99, The Container Store.

Bake the best (and easiest!) pies and cookies ever next year with the Kitchen Aid Artisan Stand Mixer, $299.95, Crate & Barrel.

Get ready for Superbowl Sunday or have a more savory taco night by making your very own guacamole dip with this Guacamole Set, $34.99, Target. The masher can also be used for potatoes or berries.

Paninis are the new sandwich. Everywhere I go I see paninis, so why not save money and make them at home with a
Breville Ikon Panini Press, $79.95 from Williams-Sonoma.

Everywhere I look I see these slider grills. Why not be trendy and get your glorious griller this Electric Slider Maker for $19.99 at JCPenney.
