I was recently scouring the web for the latest, greatest in holiday decor. And for every 100 Christmas products, I'd stumble upon a single stylish Hanukkah decoration.

So what's the deal? If you'll be celebrating this holiday come Saturday (Friday at midnight) and want to decorate beyond your grandma's hand-me-downs, where do you turn? Mainstream stores like Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn will add two or three Hanukkah products to their holiday collection each year. Are they Hanukkah decorating's only hope?

This year Rosanna, the boutique tableware designer, created a stunning line of serving plates dedicated to the Festival of Lights (and aptly named as such). Her Latke and Dreidel plates (shown at right) are rimmed in platinum writing to honor the holiday without going the common kitschy route that many seasonal tableware goes. We can only hope that other modern decor designers will follow next year with some equally stylish goods.

But for now, if you're looking to add some last-minute items to your Hanukkah home, here's a roundup of the best modern products the world (or web) has to offer.

Roundup of menorahs

Celebrate Hanukkah this year with a menorah that's anything but traditional.

The menorah -- the centerpiece of the Hanukkah celebration -- has a long and meaningful history, but that doesn't mean it needs to look ancient. These five menorahs serve the traditional purpose but will be right at home in the modern interior. Clockwise from top left: Utopia Man/Woman Menorah, $295, Jonathan Adler; Nine-Piece Concrete Menorah by Marit Meisler, $320, Unica Home; Lotus Blossom Menorah, $220, by Michael Aram; Tree of Life Menorah, $69.99, Bed Bath & Beyond; "Last Match" Menorah Oil Lamp by Kathleen Walsh, $240, Unica Home.
