Not only did pin thin "Grey's Anatomy" star Ellen Pompeo and her music executive husband Chris Ivery just make a baby, they recently forked over $4.2 million for a huge and historic house in Los Angeles' Los Feliz area, according to property records. Now they'll have plenty of room for baby Stella and all the brothers and sisters they might want to give her.

We've got exclusive pics. Take a tour of the 8,081-square-foot mansion.

Living Room

The vast 2-story living room features a soaring, barrel-vaulted ceiling, honey-colored wood floors, a monumental carved stone fireplace flanked by built-in book shelves and large windows. French doors offer city views and three circular stained glass windows depict a variety of colorful fruit.

Dining Room
Being new to the neighborhood, Ellen and Chris might consider having a party in their new dining room where they can host a few of their big name neighbors who own property in Laughlin Park, including Casey Affleck, will.i.am of the Black Eyed Peas and actress Jenna Elfman. Oscar nominated actress Natalie Portman paid $3.25 million for the house next door, which had previously been owned by Dermot Mulroney and Catherine Keener back when they were still happily married.

Kitchen
In addition to the 7 full and 1 half bathrooms that feature original tile work from the 1930s, the Antonio Moreno mansion retains a funky, period kitchen with a green and white checked floor, sea foam green and white cabinetry and a massive, six-burner vintage stove. The property also includes a detached guesthouse and a full recording studio.

Master Suite
A sizable second floor landing with a coffered wood ceiling leads to the family bedrooms. Here you'll find a master suite with coved ceilings, a vintage bathroom and French doors that open to a Juliet balcony that offers city and downtown views.

Outdoor Living
The back yard is on a hillside with meandering pathways lined with clipped boxwoods, quiet terraces and stone staircases. The property does not currently have a swimming pool but that may not matter to these two property mavens. They took it upon themselves to install a brand new swimming pool at another Los Angeles property they own in the historic Whitley Heights neighborhood, which records show they bought in August of 2005 for $1,350,000.

The property mad couple also owns a third house in Los Angeles, this one a 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom hideaway in the Hollywood Hills, which records show they snatched up in April of 2008 for $1,226,000.

You're right. That's the Adina drive house, the one she bought in 2008.
this one is a little bigger than that one.. She has the third house which is the one she lives in now..

I wonder which one she'll move into and when...

The exterior has the uglies but the interior is pretty. The kitchen flooring is pretty but the cabinets gotta go.

I wouldn't want to live in a house with those horrid floors. Looks horrible.. We never even saw the baby yet... I guess we are getting a "Nicole Kidman' pulled on us...

I AGREE WITH YOU, MARGARET. JUST ANOTHER "POSER"... WHO HAS, SOMEHOW, MANAGED TO LEARN THE 'INTRICACIES' OF "COPY & PASTE". NOT AN ORIGINAL THOUGHT OR NOTION TO BE HAD FROM SUCH AN OBVIOUSLY OBSEQUIOUS DOLT.

I think that these stars need to stop buying these ugly homes. If I lived there, I would have the whole entire house done into something more nicer than that one.

4.2 million for the ugliest house in California. The kitchen looks like the painter dropped acid then decided to paint it like the local hospital. Wow, some people have no taste. The only pretty thing about that house is the cobblestone on the ground!!!
