This cozy-cute place setting is the simplest of our twelve Christmas crafts. All you need are a mitten and a length of ribbon for each place setting. For a party, you can buy affordable mittens and let guests take home a pair as a favor. Alternately, if you're setting the Christmas table for the family, just use mittens and gloves that you already have on hand. Don't worry if all the mittens don't match -- coordinating bows and matching dishes and flatware will give your design a pulled-together look.
Feeling extra crafty? Better Homes and Gardens magazine shows you
how to make your own felt mitten ornaments, which you could easily use as a flatware holder.
