To recreate this look at your own home, you will need a few shades of blue and white paper and scissors. If you're hoping to flatten the folds in a hurry, you'll also want an iron and some wax paper to iron them flat once you finish snipping.
Need a refresher course in paper snowflake making? That's fine. Unless you're a grade school teacher, it's probably been a while! Here's a quick tutorial from Curbly that shows you how to cut perfect paper snow flakes. For more advanced snowflakes, you could pick up a copy of Dover Publications Easy-to-Make Decorative Paper Snowflakes ($5.95).
