Usually, your ShelterPop editors look at photographs of interiors for inspiration and ideas. We seek out spaces that we can learn something from and that we can aspire to mimic in our own homes. However, occasionally a special room is better for something else: A good laugh. Case in point: This room and its red dress bed, which we first spotted on Home Sweet Home.

We're sad to report that we're pretty sure this red dress bed doesn't exist in real life. Rather, it is a computer-generated, promotional image for the soon-to-open hotel Maison Moschino.

The Milan hotel is housed in an 1840's neo-classical railway station. However, the interiors are far from traditional, as you can tell from the image above. Maison Moschino's website promises 58 rooms decked out in, "Moschino's distinct style where an ordinary world is painted over with a surrealist's brush." Ahem.

We really can't wait to see the actual photographs of this hotel when they become available. Hopefully, the red dress bed will be realized for an even better laugh.

Are they kidding with that red (yikes) bed? It's the ugliest bed I've ever seen.

I would feel compelled to keep my shoes at the foot of the bed just for esthetic reasons and to sleep in my slip!

This reminds of the last valentino show he did before retirement. Just love the red and its simplicity.
