IKEA's Expedit Gets a New Function

Everyone loves iKEA, right? Here at ShelterPop, we're huge fans (in case you haven't noticed). Naturally, when I heard the news of my favorite IKEA bookcase (let's hear it for the Expedit!), I was thrilled beyond belief. It's true. Our favorite Swedish retailer has just announced that the Expedit is now available as a TV storage unit.

Designed by Tord Björklund, the unit comes fully equipped with a back panel and pre-drilled holes for concealed cable organizing. And if you must know, concealed anything is music to my furniture-loving ears. Score your own unit in black-brown or stark white and kiss your old entertainment center goodbye.

After all, every show looks better when broadcasting straight from the beauty of IKEA fiberboard. Enjoy!
