Now that NFL superstar quarterback Tom Brady and his supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen are the proud new parents of a genetically blessed baby named Benjamin, they've reportedly settled on a $10 million mansion in Brookline, Massachusetts so they can set up a happy home.

The comely couple have been spotted peeping properties in many of the priciest suburbs of Boston including Dover, Sherborne and Brookline where, it's rumored and reported, they've scored a real estate touchdown with an historic and fully renovated mansion built in 1850.

The 11-room manse, located in a leafy enclave off Route 9, is owned by radio veteran Richie Balsbaugh. Back in October of 2009, Balsbaugh denied that the Brady Bundchen bunch were buying his big house in Brookline. Recently, he was quoted in the Boston Herald as saying, "It's not a done deal. There was some momentum, but then football happened, and the baby, and the other houses, so he's a little overwhelmed."

Sources told the Boston Herald that the well paid Patriots pig skinner and the even better paid catwalk queen have already dropped a million dollar deposit on the property – which was never on the open market – and that the official transfer is expected to occur sometime in March. Property records show the sprawling mansion sits on almost three gated acres (2.76), and measures just under 10,000 square feet with 4 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and 7 fireplaces. There is also a large detached guesthouse adjacent to the swimming pool.

Both Brady and Bundchen have been on a bit of a real estate whirlwind lately. Records reveal that in December of 2009 Bundchen sold her New York City townhouse for $12.95 million. The 5-floor townhouse on the West Village's beautiful Barrow Street has 4 bedrooms, six bathrooms, an elevator, a basement gym and 7 fireplaces. Just a month earlier she sold another Manhattan property, this one a triplex penthouse overlooking the Hudson River for which she banked a cool $4.4 million.

Brady sold his condo in the historic Burrage Mansion in Boston's swank Back Bay neighborhood back in early 2008 for just under $5.3 million and in mid-2009, perhaps in anticipation of buying a big house in the 'burbs for he and his growing and good looking family, he put his current duplex penthouse home on the market at $10.9 million. The Brady Bundchen's current Boston crib, according to listing information, measures 5,300 square feet with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and includes a gourmet kitchen, high-tech media room, a home gym, his and her dressing rooms in the master suite, 2 landscaped terraces, garage parking for 4 fancy cars and unobstructed views of the Charles River.

In late 2008 the pretty pair paid $11.75 million for a 3.6 acre a vacant parcel in the very same, very fancy Los Angeles community where Gov. Scwhazernegger and his cell phone law flouting wife Maria Shriver live when not in residence in the state capital of Sacramento. It's unknown what the couple plans for the property, but according to listing information, the purchase came with plans and permits for an 11,500-square-foot Mediterranean style manse that, if built, would give the delectable duo stately estates on both coasts.
