So it turns out you're not quite as brooding as you thought and you're in search of a new decor characteristic. Look no further. Today's "Decor By Personality" features a trait that everyone desires to possess (at least I'd hope?): charisma. Let's unpack how furnishings, decor and accessories can complement your dreams of becoming the most magnetic and captivating face in the crowd!

If you're charismatic:
You're being watched, right now. That gal in the corner cafe? She can't help herself; she gravitates toward you. Your mailman? He loves your infectious laughter and soulful eyes. And we both know your co-workers think you're the cat's meow.

But hey, don't pat yourself on the back quite yet. Sure, everyone loves you -- but do they love your decor? If the answer is no, we've got just the inspiration to match your effervescent personality. Read on!:

Here's the deal with charismatic people: They're bold, fun and don't take life too seriously. So whether your favorite color is lime green or you have an unhealthy affection for blue toile wallpaper, follow your gut instinct. It could look hideous, but chances are, it won't.

Try: A monochromatic color scheme in your favorite hue. Add in a few pops of the proper accent color and you've got one charismatic room!

Not quite risque enough to throw some paint on your walls? No worries --- showcase your personality with a wall of collections that reflect your personality. Whether you're into sports, books or aviation, get those prized possessions out of storage and onto your shelves!

Try: White walls with a few pops of bold-colored furniture to keep the look streamlined, yet snooze-free. To create collections rather than clutter, use minimalist shelving and group like-minded colors accordingly.

Want to know the secret to being charismatic? You've gotta love people! Translate your people skills into your decor by displaying a few fun portraits in unexpected places.

Try: Browse your local antique market or thrift store and find a bizarre oil painting portrait to display in your home. Guests will enjoy the fun surprise, especially when used strategically in an entryway or bathroom!

Go on -- it's time for a charismatic transformation. When you're finished, invite all of your popular friends for an impromptu dinner party and bask in the glow of your adoring fans. Enjoy!
