You live in a stylish home, shouldn't your mail?

So, you move into a house and there it is: The enormous cow-shaped mailbox by the curb, taunting you with its glare and mooing when opened. OK, that might be the worst case scenario when it comes to bad mailbox design, but if it's time to update your letter holder, you'll be pleased to find there is quite the selection out there these days. Let's take a look at a few different styles to see what will make your mail carrier smile every day.

If your mailbox is on the front of your house, one of these might be appealing:

Who pays over $1,000 for a mailbox?! thats insane! If you did that in most neighborhoods, the kids would just put a firebomb in it or hit it with a baseball bat! I'm not saying mailboxes cant have style, but there are certainly vheaper options! Including painting your own!

AOL-people are struggling to survive in this econmy, maybe you should have ideas that might fit their budget and still bring a little beauty into their lives? This is an inane article....

orlenda, I agree with you! I don't even particularly like any of the mailboxes pictured, and a thousand bucks for a mailbox in an economy where folks are struggling just to feed their children is nothing less than disgusting.

Which one of the "curbside delivery" boxes holds up best to a kid in a car speeding by with a baseball bat? That's all I need to know.

I knew that was a past time of the kids in the hills of Malibu, I guess if you can afford to replace it, you can destroy it.

Not everyone is broke! I People have been struggling to feed their children since the dawn of man. These mailboxes are cool, I would not pay $1,000 for one either. To say its disgusting to advertise these is ludicris! What is the whole world supposed to stop because YOU made bad decisions or got laid off, NO!!! Simply dont buy it, no need to be snippy.

Robert, I'm hoping you are a young inexperienced person to be making comments that you are. I hate to think that people like you actually exist with your noncaring and uncompassionate manner. How quick you are to judge, don't you realize you are creating bad karma by telling people they made bad decisions in life, Show me one person who never made an incorrect decision in their entire life. and I will show you your parents, they should have made the decision to whip your little condenscending butt and adjusted that hollier than tho attitude
