If you haven't heard of Laura Day yet, chances are you will soon. The designer and star of TLC's Trading Spaces has added another feather to her cap -- founder of a new webzine, Laura Day Living.
The gloriously lush site uses a surprisingly intimate, interactive forum. Day opens up her own Park Avenue apartment to readers where they can browse rooms, inspiration and shop for her finds. Plus, her decorating advice and tips are tempered with her own real life experiences (like that she started out as a house painter -- who knew!?). Inspiration images and favorite quotations from the likes of Louisa May Alcott are also peppered throughout the site.

All that's just from Volume One of Laura Day Living -- we can't wait for the next installment!

ReplyI like almost everything (99.9%) about it....I think it's great!!!!
She was probably the least impressive designer ever to be on Trading Spaces. Not as crazy as Dez Ryan, but her "design's were just meh
Replyalthough laura is after my trading spaces time, i love it especially the chandelier over the bed, i have one over my bed also.
ReplyWHAT AN ASSININE POSE. PHOTOGRAPHERS MORE AND MORE HAVE PEOPLE POSE IN RIDICULOUS POSITIONS TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE IT WAS SPONTANEOUS. SHE LOOKS LIKE SHE JUST PISSED DOWN HER LEG. THE PHOTOGRAPHER LAURA DAY LIVING IS A JERK AND VERY UN-PROFESSIONAL !
ReplyFunny. I thought the same thing. It looks as if she was laughing and saying 'hurry up and take the shot, I gotta pee really bad'
