Equal parts sweet and sassy, bows never fail to make us happy.

Tie a bow around your finger to remember important things. Tie one on a present to make it festive or around your ponytail to fancy it up. No wonder we love bows! They give just about everything an instant upgrade. In honor of my favorite motif, I went bow-hunting on eBay for a story I wrote on The Inside Source, eBay's blog dedicated to trends, style and products that are hot right now. I found some spectacular vintage pieces and it made me hungry for more. Check out these modern picks for your home:

Tres Tray Tray by Perch!, $94, Branch
Accessorize this bow with the yummy stuff you fill it with. Figs, nuts, M&Ms...

Textile museum throw by Mae Engelgeer, $830, Wannekes
Is $830 a lot for a double-sided throw? Yes. But these pieces, made in the Textile Museum in the Netherlands, are more art than blanket.

Orange Fashion Gloves with Orange Gingham and White Bow by Gloveables, $12, Organize.com
Bows and cheery oilcloth probably won't make dishwashing easier or faster. But it's worth a try.

Love Knots Silver Plated Frames by Vera Wang for Wedgwood, $60-$100 each, Bed Bath $ Beyond
The next best thing to a bow-adorned Vera Wang wedding gown.

Disney Princess White Nightstand
, $200, Rooms To Go
Don't let the name fool you -- this standard-height nightstand is not just for princesses.

Bow Folded Notes on White
, $16 for set of 8, Carrot & Stick Press
Spread joy via letterpressed bows. Bonus: these double as holiday cards when the time comes.

Pug Bookends, $295, Barney's
Made in Italy, sold at Barney's -- no wonder these pugs have serious style.
