Soak away your tax season blues with ShelterPop's five favorite luxury bathtubs.

Are you feeling the mid-April tax season stress? We know we are. Nothing beats a good old-fashioned soak in a hot bath to soothe the nerves. You can get that "ooh aah" feeling in just about any bathtub if you surround yourself with candles and some scented bubbles.

While we're perfectly content with a run-of-the mill tub, we daydream about someday owning a seriously luxurious soaker. Because although a bath is a bath, the bathtub itself can make a huge difference in your level of comfort and relaxation.

From shape, style and size to advanced technology, the bathtub can completely transform your bathing experience from ordinary to extraordinary. Here are Shelterpop's five favorite luxury bathtubs:

The indoor/outdoor tub
The Geo 180 by KOS Italia (left) is an indoor/outdoor option that just screams luxury. The tub features a water spout and a rain-like stream from above. It's a far cry from the crusty jacuzzi in Hot Tub Time Machine.

The infinity edge
The Sok infinity edge bathtub by Kohler is the bathtub version of an infinity-edge pool. The water gently moves over the edges as you bathe. If ever there was a spa-worthy bathtub you could put in your home, we think this is it.

The vintage experience
This cast iron clawfoot tub from Vintage Tub & Bath is just one of many vintage-style bathtubs from the company's collection of antique-looking models. We guarantee you will find something with charm and character that oozes relaxation.

The modern sanctuary
The Happy D. bathtub from Duravit is so sleek and modern (totally up our alley!), but it also has a lot of wonderful features. First, you can get it in a variety of sizes and shapes to fit your bathroom. It even comes in limited edition oak. Or, you can build a tiled tub surround. A fun add-on is a colored light with remote control.

The concept bathtub
The Jetson-like Infinity Bath concept by designer Aleksander Mukomelov marries the age-old art of soaking with modern technology. An in-bath control panel allows you to change and monitor temperature, jets, music and even add aromatherapy or essential oils.

As long as it doesn't start to incorporate Twitter or Facebook, I think that I'd love to spend a night in this bathtub -- I wonder if I can order room service from that control panel? Speaking of social networking, have you checked out ShelterPop on Twitter and Facebook? Join us!
