You've seen us post about weird designs before. Remember the prickly chair? What about that egg-shaped office? This time I thought I'd do something different and a bit more interactive. I'm gonna show you three -- yes three -- designs that I think are pretty weird and your votes will decide which is the weirdest.
1. Bright Blinds. These blinds look and function just like ordinary blinds, with one catch: They're made of electroluminescent sheets that create the illusion of a window behind them, when in fact, it's just your wall! They're currently not available for sale, but we could see these being a big hit for use in basements and dark, windowless rooms. I've often seen designers hang curtains on walls where there were no windows, or hang them past where the window ends to make the window area appear larger. So really, this isn't too crazy. Or is it?

The blinds can have a practial use in a dark room...The chair socks could be used in a classroom to make the chairs quieter when dragged across the floor (tennis balls are currently used in many rooms). The soap just creeps me out.
ReplyI totally agree regarding the soap hands being creepy. They look like dead babies hands.
I too agree about teh baby hands. All I can imagine and wonder is if the soap was made from tallow, or the crushed bones of actual babies... New joke then.. How many dead babies does it take to make baby hand soap? Answer: 1 each... LOL
All the gadgets are very interesting, but the socks are not the most appealing. The concept is cool, but I would have to make it in many different prints. From kids prints for desk chairs in their room to college prints for bed legs and desk chairs too. Then for adult situations, very elegant socks with lace and/or jewels etc. But then you have young married couples in apartment living. to add the wow factor. Etc. Etc. for adult situations. Let's have some fun with these.I'm a doctor,31 ,rich but still single. It's hard to get a girlfriend in my town ,most of them like my money more than like me.I just want to find my true love.so i uploaded my hot photos on doctormillioniare .c o m under the name of hot561.u dont have to be a millionaire, but u can meet one there. ..if you girls see this comment,i hope you will check my photos out there.maybe you are the one who i'm looking for!!!
Great when you live in a cave or place with no windows.

The soaps will easily get the kids to wash their hands more. The socks are GREAT if you have wood floors. I love the blinds for rooms or offices with no windows.
I have sold window covering for ten years. Ingenious idea for basements with no windows. Also ideal for closets that have been converted to offices in big cities where space is at a premium. Will most definitely help those with seasonal light disorder. Great idea!!!!
ReplyActually, I liked them all, but the hand soaps are a bit creepy. The illuminated blinds are a great idea and furniture "socks" have been around for ages - maybe not so sporty, but they do help chairs glide smoothly.
ReplyLove the idea for the blinds! I might need to get a set for my basement.
ReplyChair socks? Really?? Guess that would fall into the people with more money than brains category.
The "hand" soaps have to be the most creepy things I've seen yet. Like something Hannibal Lecter would love to use.
Ewwwaa!..The little hands are creepy as chit. Like their coming up out of the ground or something, Who da hell comes up with this crap?...geeezz. Get a life!, but then here I am commenting..lmao! O'well such as life ;-)
ReplyOMG..so true, but I love Hannibal and Movies like that, but still the little hands soap?...Hope I can get that out of my head before the day ends...It's just sick.
ReplyThe "hand" soaps are kitchy enough and the blinds are a great idea for basements or windowless rooms ... the socks are just tacky. I can see the benefit to having the noise associated with dragging chairs and tables, but there are other ways. The the soap and the blinds I might buy, the socks, never.
ReplyI love the idea of the blinds. Makes perfect sense. I thought the idea of the socks was stupid until I saw the comment about using them in classrooms to reduce or eliminate the noise chairs make when you drag them across the floor. The hand soaps are a tad creepy.
Replyall three ideas are great, I personally like the little hands, that is such a cute idea. When will these products be available?
ReplyThe blinds are a great idea, I myself would buy at least 4 of them for my home. The handsoaps are clever, eerie to some maybe, but clever. The dumbest thing is the socks for the chair legs but, everyone has their own tastes so who knows, could be the next biggest thing since the pet rock.
ReplyBlinds are excellent, practical. Socks are practical with a bit of whimsy. Soap is just plain creepy.
ReplyThis is what happens when a housewife has no job and sits around the house all day !

ReplyThe hand soaps are majorly CREEPY! The sox are something I hadn't thought about and I have seen lights placed behind regular blinds to simulate a window!
ReplyI don't care for the hand soaps. The blinds are a great idea. Chair socks maybe goos for noise ther than that a waste of money.
