LEGO my kitchen island! Photo: Freshome
Think LEGOs are a kid's toy? Think again. I've been spotting LEGOs all over the place, from sidewalks to city buildings, houses -- and now kitchens! Our friends at Freshome pointed me to a project from two Parisian designers with a LEGO-inspired island worthy of child's play -- and adult's love.
Hmm, I wonder what happens if you spill a drink? Photo: Freshome

Cool!!!
ReplyHow Childish, but its just a little PR built by legos employees. They would,y last 2 days as a kitchen counter, they are brittle melt very easy, cut easy and fall apart easy.
It's very creative; very artistic.......and ugly as well...!!!
ReplyToo too bright and colorful.....it's just CRAZY...!!!!
BUTT UG-A-LEEE
ReplyI agree. They really missed an opportunity to use what colors are available to control the design. Love the concept though!
ReplyWow! That is the coolest kitchen I have ever seen! I want it!
ReplyIt's AWESOME!
ReplyLooks like the aftermath of an explosion at a candy factory.
ReplyHow sanitary can it be? I am sure food can get in the cracks
ReplyMost likely it's sealed.
Too cute!! I can just see my son trying to dismantle their efforts - hope they used good glue!
ReplyNot my choice at all! http://www.kitchenremodelingguide.info
ReplyAn interesting concept. Too bad they didn't make an effort to coordinate the colors.
ReplyEh..no thanks....I prefer an adult kitchen. Let the kiddies play with their Legos elsewhere.....
