Love the orange & green that appear to look more like chargers. The colors say "summer".
ReplyThese mats Http://www.kitchenremodelingguide.info will brighten up a kitchen.
Placemats serve no purpose other than decoration on a table no one uses --- if you use them daily, food gets all over them, especially with kids and a few sloppy adults. OK, I know, I'm a guy. Better to just let the food hit the table though.
ReplyWhile I don't use placemats everyday, I do have a cute set of red,
Replywhite and blue ones that I use every year for our Fourth of July
party. For our buffet table, I use white plates and platters and set
them on the placemats and have a simple vase of red and white flowers
with a big blue bow and the table looks so festive! Here are some other ideas we use every year:

If they are machine washable, I'm in. Otherwise, forget it. Years ago (maybe 45) my mother used paper placemats sold in the grocery store. I'll stick with a few sets of woven ones.
ReplyWash them!
ReplyWHO CARES?? DON'T MOST PEOPLE EAT IN FRONT OF THE TV ANYWAY??? 45 YEARS AGO I USED CLOTH FINGER TOWELS TO SAVE PAPER. WHAT GOOD DID IT DO? NOTHING. SO DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT.
