The singer has a waterpark in the backyard of her Jupiter Island, Florida home.

Celine Dion knows a thing or two about fun -- or maybe just unbridled excess. On the heels of news that she is pregnant and expecting twins with hubby Rene Angelil later this year, we've got gallery of chanteuse Celine Dion's massive Florida maison -- complete with a full-fledged waterpark that is as impressive as some of the most-visited aquatic playgrounds in the country.

The $20 million home overlooks the Atlantic Ocean on swanky Jupiter Island, where neighbors include none other than Tiger Woods. The 9,825-square-foot pad has been home for the couple and their nine-year-old boy since 2005, when she purchased it for $12.5 million.

Talk about fun playdates for son, Rene.

On top of the usual lavish accompaniments to a home sporting this kind of price tag, there is a lazy river (which wraps around one of the two swimming pools) and two water slides. All of it was of Dion's own design, but it didn't go down well with the neighbors, given the fact that the water park requires 500,000 gallons of water. It reportedly uses up much of the island's fresh-water supply.

Also on the 5.7-acre grounds is a tennis court, underground garage and a beach-side cabana. And this is no teeny cabana: Inside is a gym, so that workouts can be accompanied by crashing waves and a gorgeous sunrise.

All of the buildings have an elegant white exterior. Inside, the home has eight bedrooms reconfigured to two massive guest rooms and a 460-square-foot wardrobe (because if you're putting on concerts like Dion you need the space to accessorize?).

I don't think it's possible to be bored here.

I think this is awesome...she can't live an ordinary life because of her success, she can't just go relax at the beach or the water parks, she would have all these people crowding around her....this is perfect for her family and her son and his friends, they can play undisturbed. If I had the money and land, I would do the same thing. Good for her! What a cool mom to think of this!

The only problem that I have with this is the fact that she is using FAR more than her share of the precious fresh water on that island. A far better way would be to have one fresh water pool and the rest salt water. She is being ecologically and socially irresponsible and self-important.

Gaudy or not, there's that little issue of the water usage. No matter how wealthy one is, there's a limit to the amount of natural resources one deserves for personal use.

As usual this article is written to be inflamatory... Yes, it took 500,000 gallons to fill her pool, but it is recirculated, treated and filtered. All she has to replace is evaporation, that is not going strain the freshwater resources of the town. So all you folks who think she is "stealing" more than her share of water need to think a little and relax. She is using no more water than a public pool would and I am sure she is inviting other kids over to play with her own child, and not charging them either.

Looks like amazing rides and lots of fun. Celine has earned her money to do with it as she pleases. My only concern though is that she has millions of dollars, can afford the upkeep (at least for now....we do hear of many celebrities selling their homes they cannot afford) of her massive estate and yet has apparently taken no steps toward being environmentally friendly with her water consumption. Due to the millions of gallons of water (6.5mill) each year Dion and her husband require for their "park" home in the Florida town on Jupiter Island, the town now has a water draught and water restrictions. Now, affecting an entire town and it's environment based upon your wants and desires is truly reprehensible, irresponsible and reckless. Celine had lawyers to get her well permits (when no one else was allowed to) so she could take and store the town's precious fresh water supply for her water park. I don't blame the town residents for being angry. Why not use solar panels on the property to heat the water and acreages and why not use a water filtration system to recycle the millions of gallons of water being used? Since her mansion is right on the ocean, why not use recycled ocean water for the park and bypass the town's fresh water supply altogether? Just a couple of ideas of my own. With the massive fortune Celine has amassed over the years from her singing I believe she can afford to be creative with how to be more environmentally friendly and subsequently neighbor friendly with her consumption of water.

I'm not jealous at all but I think her home is ridicules! Just my opinion. Dion tries to sing like Barbra Streisand but Babs beats her out by a mile!

I sent a comment but it was not shared. Is there a reason why not?

Money & fame are often more of a curse than a blessing. Celine seems psychologically stable enough and emotionally mature enough to handle her wealth responsibly...without drugs, booze, gambling or sexual promiscuity. Better a water park in her backyard than blowing her discretionary income on cocaine. I would hope, however, that she incorporates some Green technology to save energy and figures out how not to rob her neighbors of their water supply. And manages not to spoil her children too much. As for helping those less fortunate? That, along with everything else, is between her and her Creator.

Truly wonderful because of all the workers that built it earned good money, and were able to proudly place food on the tables of their families. Extravagance of the rich is the very best charity. Earn your money, and she pays you.

Here's the comment I sent b4 that you didn't post. Celine is a phenomenal talent, a fantastic mother, and a caring generous human being. She has helped so many in this country as well as others. She worked hard for what she has & deserves every bit of it. She is also a prisoner to that fame as she has to protect herself and her family from the masses and media. She should have built a dome over her property to keep prying eyes from photographing and plastering her home and privacy all over the internet. Hope you post this comment this time.

Celine deserves to spend her hard-earned money anyway she wishes. However, I find that a bit less is best, and more classy. Best wishes to her in her pregnancy.

I believe Celine has worked very hard to get where she is today. I definitely love her music and hope to see her in concert sometime in the future. I do understand how hard it is though for those of us who do not have that kind of money.

While I have only listened to Celine Dion's music mainly when she has been on Oprah, I find her an extremely talented woman who gives off very loving and caring vibrations. She was from a very large and poor Canadian family. I know that she has funded many charities and continues to be generous in so many ways. She admitted publicly that she has been trying to get pregnant for quite some time, and she has had several miscarriages. I am happy to hear that she is pregnant, and as a physician I hope that she can carry them to a healthy full term. I believe that she needs to be able to have a fortress of sorts because of her exuberant fans, and yes, also for the haters. I have had to retire due to health challenges, and I live modestly. Nevertheless, I think she deserves to live in whatever way pleases her family. I imagine that having so much to do helps to keep her son happy and protected. For security reasons he can have a place to invite his friends and feel safe while enjoying some social time.
    Peace and Blessings,

I think all female singers wish they could sing like Streisand, but no one will ever surpass or even match her.

I was just looking at the pictures again. Is that big white thing in the middle the main house? It looks like a hotel. This all looks very resort-like and "cold" to me. Not "homey" at all. I wish they'd posted photos of the interior, but, of course, Dion probably wouldn't allow that.

God gives us power to get wealth to establish His covenant. Deut. 8:18. What you do with it is between you and God. God blesses us so that we can be a blessing to others.

WHO CARES?!?! And why do so many people get upset about something so trivial?!? Are you that upset about child abuse, animal abuse, the oil spill in the gulf, health care reform, the economy, the environment?!? I doubt it. If I had the money that Celine Dion had I'd probably have a backyard that looked like that also! It's her money, let her do what she wants with it! Jealousy certainly rears its ugly head on these boards.
