Have trouble deciding on an exterior paint color? You don't have to choose. We bet all the other houses on this block are green -- err, beige -- with envy.

At first thought, we'll admit, we thought this house was kind of wacky. But then we started thinking about all the times that having such a bold, fiercely happy house could be an asset.

• Giving directions. "Just head straight down Broadway, and ours is the house that's painted like a rainbow."
• No one -- no one -- could ever accuse you of being grumpy. Or boring.
• You'd never have to worry about matching your flowers to the color of the house -- you'll be able to match just about everything!
• Just driving up to your house would make you smile (if not laugh).
• Two words: Community celebrity. Just try to go to the pharmacy without someone shouting "Hey, Rainbow-House guy!" and giving you a high-five.
• Who knows -- maybe there's a pot of gold buried under here?

That's our shortlist -- and we're counting on you to add your own ideas in the comments! (And don't forget to weigh in in the poll.)

What about you?

So anytime you see a rainbow, whether in the sky or on clothing or a building, it must be the homosexual "agenda"? Get a grip and get over yourself!! No matter where I see a rainbow I like it, because they are so cheerful. I didn't see the picture of the building and think it had anything to do with being gay, I just thought it was nice. I would love to live next door to that home, heterosexual or homosexual or whatever, who cares?

There is a home in Warrenton, OR that has been painted in different pastel colours. It's beautiful and nobody objects to it. Why would anybody object anyway............

You, Sir, are a complete ass. Why would mexicans paint their house rainbow colors? You have so much hate that I think you are getting your stereotypes mixed up!

Hey, I live in Florida where one can see about every color of homes. This is sooooo cool. I love it. I'm 72 years old. I wish I could paint my apartment like this house. Really enjoy it.

It works really well because the red is on the bottom, and the rest of the house is done in a neutral white. What great fun! These folks have an excellent sense of humor and obvious pride in their home. WAY TO GO!

You sir Kelly are an idiot for calling me an ass!!!!! obviously you haven't been to Mexico or any Hispanic neighborhood . They paint there houses every color of the rainbow!!!! You are the reason our country is so f'd up. From your response to me you must be a gay rainbow lover..... What I just wrote is a little hate. There is a little difference. You need to get a life and stop being so gay!!!!
